So I've been busy and haven't written in here for a while. Classes are coming to an end. The professors are putting out reviews, exam schedules, and finishing their lectures. Exams begin on Thursday of this week.

My trial got canceled because the officer was not able to attend. There is a dockett call on May 7th, which should get us a May 14th trial, according to the municipal prosecutor. The guy who hit me and his attorney sent my insurance company a letter saying I pleaded guilty/no contest... which is a complete and utter lie. I can't believe all the crap they're caused. It's insane. Not only that but the guy is not a real model citizen, his criminal record is impressive.

On Friday night, Cameron, Tyler and I went to the Pioneer Hotel in downtown Lubbock. We wandered around for a little while and then decided we needed flashlights instead of cellphones. As we were leaving we had to run because there was a car coming in the distance and we didn't want anyone to be suspicious. I was in the lead and as I neared the planter the fence had been knocked down onto I ran into a wire that was stretched between two poles at head level. It was prolly about a 2 gauge wire. Well it caught me right under my nose and lifted me off the ground and landed me on my ass. It ripped the corner of my nose, and a small chunk, and cut the inside of my nose. We went back to campus to clean it up and play guitar hero while Cameron went to pick up Liz. Then we all went to Wal-Mart and picked up some REAL flashlights (maglights) and went back to the Pioneer. This time we spent a long time inside, wandering all over the basement and all the way up to the roof where we looked out across all of Lubbock. Everything is absolutely beautiful from up there, at night anyways. When we left we waited for a clearing in the cars, and all ran as a group to the downed part of the fence. When we got over the fence onto the street a car parked on the side of the road about 3 blocks down, which happened to be a cop car, turned on its sirens and lights and started for us. We all booked diagonally across the block to Tyler's car and doubled back to where the cop had been, then out to the loop, then back to Broadway, and then to campus. That had already provided enough excitement, but when Tyler ran a red light because he wasn't paying attention, we ALMOST got hit by a fire truck. It was close. After we got back we started watching Fight Club and I made weird noises as I fell asleep. I think it was because my nose got so messed up.

Jessica, Vanessa, Brad an I played bingo on Saturday night. It was alot of fun but next time I think we'll sit in the non-smoking section. Vanessa's car now smells like smoke. After bingo we went to Cricket's to eat, but then after being there for a while we decided to go to Josie's. Good choice amigos... Josie's is amazing. Then we went to a park behind the hospital, and had a bit of fun playing around, and then back to campus to rest.

Sunday I slept in and didn't go to church because I felt sick, and my nose had been bothering me. Around 3, Jessica picked me up and we went to Brad's for food. He had cooked some steaks and made this awesome potato dish. There was going to be chili, but that supposedly caught fire while he was at church. It was alot of fun just hanging out. I went with Jessica and Vanessa to the grocery store to get cake mix, but when they headed back to campus to get Jessica's laundry, I decided I should be responsible and start working on my final drawing for Landscape Architecture, which I indeed did work on.

I looked into being a CA for next semester but none are needed now. They told me to check over the summer because people were bound to drop out and whatnot, but I need to know NOW my living arrangements for next semester, so I'll be staying with Matt, Joey and Travis at the Reserve. I'm stoked.

Now it's Monday. I've got English in an hour and a half, I need to finish my final drawing by 2 PM tomorrow, and I need to collect 20 examples of landscaping projects and put them in a folder. I'm gonna get to it.

So I got my phone back. Thats good news. I found out that they guy who totaled my car has a very interesting criminal report. Kinda scary actually. Classes have been going well. I got my final drawing for Landscape Architecture Graphics, and the drawing is due May 1st, and then I have to render it by May 8th. I think I get kicked out of the dorms on May 9th, so my Dad will be coming to pick me up. He says we should be able to get a Honda Civic like mine for 3K, and as far as I've seen, that's true. I think I should have one by the end of the summer, and then I can piece together the perfect Civic with what remains of mine.

Today is 4/20. I won't be participating in the general activities that are associated with this day, today or ANY day.

I miss my parents, and the Chesters, and home. I can't wait til summer.

So I lost my cell phone in my freinds car, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't know about it. This blows. I had to leave him a message on Facebook letting him know. I needed to talk to my lawyer, and I was going to meet Joey at the plasma center, since it's his first time donating. Dangit.

I'm skipping class right now. I havn't skipped a class ever because I just felt like it, but I really didn't want to go to trig today and try and interpret what my teacher has been saying. And I need a shower. Badly. This is gonna be a good day?

Had my meeting w/ Michael King this morning. He sounds confident in the case and is reccomending we proceed to trial on the 20th. We still have to organize all the stuff together so we can really kick some butt in court, but Lubbock is trying to have the driver who hit me be a witness. That makes me kinda nervous. This guy is prolly pissed that I'm putting up a fight, but there's no way I'm gonna rollover and get screwed on this. Anyhoo, guess we'll see where that goes.

As for living situations next year, I just told Matt that I'll live w/ him at the Reserve. It'll be me, Matt, Joey, and Travis. I havn't met travis yet, but he can't be a bad guy if he's friends w/ Matt and Joey. It's gonna be a dang good deal, $279/month for a 4 bed/2 bath apartment, fully furnished w/ washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, everything. I'm kinda stoked. I need to talk to Cameron since he thinks I'm going to be living with him at Ashton Pointe next year. I just don't think that's the best situaiton for me, since it costs more, isn't furnished, and you get either a washer and dryer, or cable/internet for free. Everything is provided for me at the Reserve. I'm sure he'll understand since he's such a good friend.

I got registered for classes next semester. Looks like I'll be busy. I have class:
Monday: 8:00-3:00 (LARC CAD Design: lecture and lab, Urban Soils, and Drawing 1)
Tuesday: 8:30-2:00 (LARC Basic Design: lecture and lab, and History of U.S. to 1877)
Wednesday: 8:00-3:00 (LARC CAD Design: lecture and lab, Urban Soils, and Drawing 1)
Thursday: 8:30-2:00 (LARC Basic Design: lecture and lab, and History of U.S. to 1877)
Friday: 11:00-12:00 (Urban Soils)

Life's good.

All's well... I just called my lawyer and set up a meeting to discuss the light sequencing and what evidence we have and if we feel comfortable proceeding to trial with this whole ordeal. I think it's looking good.

Easter weekend was good. I hardly did anything. Hung out with Cameron, Jacob and Liz a bunch. We watched Fight Club and American History X on Sunday night, and we were up til 5. I love those movies. Both are at the top of the list now. I need to schedule for academic advising so I can get a decent schedule for next year.

I should call my parents, havn't talked to them lately.

I have class in 30 minutes... Biology: Ecology and Environmental Problems. I hope it will keep my attention today. I expect it to. Then I have Lanscape Architecture Graphics 1402 after that. I know I'll be entertained there, as always.

Yup.
